“Canto precisamos?” (“How much do we need?”) is a series of large-format compositions (the smallest of them measures 100x80 cm), that were conceived during my last trip to Brazil in late 2023, while walking through the central market of my mum’s hometown - although they could have been inspired by any other part of the globe.

Through the big scale and the repetition of the elements, the work aims to create an impact and invite to the reflection about what we produce and in which proportions.

“Canto precisamos?” é unha serie de composicións de gran formato (a máis pequena mide 100x80cm), que podería ter nado nun lugar calquera, pero que a idea foi nacer na miña última viaxe ao Brasil, a finais do 2023, nos paseos polo mercado central da vila onde naceu a miña nai.

Prentende impactar pola escala da obra e pola repetición dos elementos, facéndonos reflexionar precisamente, sobre todo o que xeramos e en qué proporcións o facemos.
