The design on this scarf was inspired by the streets in my hometown. A Gaiteira is a walking street in A Coruña, near my grandparents house and my parent’s old workplace. I spent a lot of time in my childhood and early teenage years there, and it brings me many memories. I tend to revisit those kinds of places, and see them with the eyes of an adult living abroad. It makes me reconnect with them, with my past. I like to immortalize them in my drawings and paintings.
