Copenhagen Journal
Journal after a day on my own, running errands in the capital city.
I have been living in a small town of Danish countryside since January 2019. On the 3rd of March of 2022, I had to spend the day in Copenhagen, doing some paper work at the embassy. I arrived early in the morning, and I spent most of the day out, walking, alone with my feelings and observing people.
Winters are long in Denmark, spring always arrives in a sort of discount time, when our energies are about to run out. The first rays of sun bring everybody to the streets to soak in as much vitamin D as possible.
It was a few days after Russian invasion of Ukraine, and I was struggling to find the bright side of things after the couple turbulent years we have lived.
Walking helps me to clear my head. I love observing people in their day to day routine, that is why I love walking the city early in the morning, on a working day: you see it in a very different pace compared to the weekends.
When I arrived home, I made this journal.
